Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea will be holding two events aimed at younger children near the estate this Autumn. Spooky Storytelling Workshop at Peter Jones Department StorePeter Jones Department store’s Community Matters scheme has invited Chickenshed Kensington and Chelsea to bring tell bring alive some spooky stories at their department in Sloane Square on Halloween. A fun devised interactive performance with a spooky halloween theme - full of songs, dances and story telling. The workshops is open to pre-booked schools from mid-day and then, from, 2pm the general public are welcome to take part in the atmospheric workshops for 0-7 year olds. When: 31st October Christmas Tales from Kensington and Chelsea (on tour at Chelsea Academy)This will be an all new Tales-o-mime for 2012. All your favourite Tales characters will bring you a sackful of silly songs, with plenty of potty puppeteering and festive fun. Prepare to laugh, sing, dance in your seat and join in with Can-Can, The Thing That Goes Blurgh and all the team’s games. Come and join us in a world where everybody can share together, believe in the magic and make it happen. These enormously popular and hugely entertaining interactive performances are an introduction to a universe where children and performers go on a theatrical journey together, and along the way, meet characters such as Can-Can the beautiful bird and The Thing That Goes Blurgh!
